Quick Start Guide
- Step 1: Import Existing Redirects (Optional)
If you already have live redirects on your current site, upload them first as a CSV file. This prevents redirect loops and conflicts when creating new redirects.
- Step 2: Upload Your Old URLs
Add the URLs from your old site that need redirects. You can upload a CSV (Address column required) or add URLs manually.
- Step 3: Upload Your New URLs
Add your new site's URLs that will serve as redirect destinations. Upload a CSV file or add URLs manually. These become the target options for your redirects.
- Step 4: Review Intelligent Matches
The tool automatically finds exact slug matches and suggests similar URLs using advanced fuzzy matching.
- Use AI-Powered Matching (Optional)
For unmapped URLs, use the AI matching feature (requires OpenAI API key) to intelligently match remaining URLs based on semantic similarity and content analysis. This can significantly speed up the mapping process.
- Manual Mapping & Filtering
For remaining unmapped URLs, use the dropdown autocomplete to select targets. Type to filter options, or browse all available URLs. Use the filter buttons (All, Mapped, Unmapped, Needs Attention, Conflicts) to focus on specific URL groups.
- Handle Conflicts & Warnings
Pay attention to warning indicators - yellow warnings show potential issues, while red warnings indicate critical conflicts that could create redirect loops or chains. Resolve these before exporting.
- Bulk Operations
Select multiple rows using checkboxes. Use bulk action buttons to set multiple URLs to redirect or skip at once. The floating action bar appears when rows are selected.
- Export Your Redirects
Choose your export format: "Final Redirects" for ready-to-upload CSV files, or "Unmapped URLs" to review remaining work. The export includes only URLs marked for redirect, formatted for easy implementation in Webflow.
💡 Pro Tip: Start with existing redirects, then add old URLs, then new URLs. This order helps the tool make better matches and catch more conflicts early.
